WINDSOR,ON (MARCH 18, 2016) – Memarden Inc. is honored to have been selected by the US National School Board Association as one of the most innovative technologies in Education in 2016.

The purpose of the NSBA annual Technology Innovation Showcase is to promote technological solutions that advance and benefit student success in K12 education. “It can be challenging for school board members and their school districts to stay abreast of all of the latest innovations, given the vast array of new technologies available,” said Ann Flynn, NSBA’s Director of Education Technology. “In highlighting innovative solutions, NSBA’s Technology Leadership Network aims to provide inspiration for decision makers looking for new approaches to both old and new challenges.”

“Memarden’s E-Learning Platform is focused on igniting a student’s passion to learn” said Memarden’s founder, S. Ramesh. “Memarden’s Game-Based-Learning Technology increases engagement by enabling teachers and students to create online learning games, literally in minutes.”

“Memarden’s Project-Based-Learning Technology fosters deeper learning and critical thinking through student-fueled inquiry and collaboration.”

“The Technology Innovation Showcase was created to introduce school leaders to new approaches, enabled by technology, that address real issues in K-12 education,” said Thomas J. Gentzel, NSBA’s Executive Director. “With its unique focus on the intersection of education policy and technology practice, NSBA has a long history of serving as a bridge between the entrepreneurial community and school leaders charged with making critical decisions.”

As a showcase winner, Memarden will be featured in the Tech Innovation Showcase panel during the NSBA Annual Conference, which brings together over 5,200 school board members and superintendents from across the USA and Canada, in Boston, April 9-11, 2016. Later this summer, Memarden will be featured in NSBA’s magazine for school leaders, American School Board Journal, and participate in a webinar hosted by NSBA’s Technology Leadership Network (TLN).
