WEtech is pleased to announce that it has provided direct dollars through the WINnovation Fund totaling $10,250.35 to four of its clients. Formerly known as the Regional Advisory Service Fund (RASF), startup related activities undertaken by clients included specialized service provider support, search engine optimization, product development, and marketing/communications activities.
The Q2 recipients include:
- CORA Cyber Security Inc. is a cyber security company specializing in “unbreakable” data security.
- ITOS Oncology is a molecular diagnostic company that identifies specific changes in the DNA within the cancer cells. Cancer treatment works best when the specific changes in their DNA are targeted with specific drugs.
- Little Brother Robotics is a new company that will rely on the skills and abilities of it’s founders to take advantage of the quickly growing market of drone technology and services. David McCall who has over a decade of experiecnce in business and marketing and Karl Scharfenberg who will bring over 2 decades of elctronics and robotics expertise to the business will lead the company as it establishes itself in the drone technology market both locally and internationally.
- Tactile Vision Graphics specializes in personalised, quality, multilingual Braille transcription and tactile map production.
The WINnovation Fund is supported by the Ontario Network of Entrepreneurs (ONE). The ONE is made up of regional and sector focused organizations that WEtech Alliance is proud to represent for the Windsor-Essex and Chatham-Kent Regions and is designed to help Ontario-based entrepreneurs rapidly grow their companies to facilitate job creation.
