I want to start by taking the time to sincerely thank Libro, and the Prosperity Fund for not only giving us at WEtech Alliance the opportunity to pilot the Libro StartUP Accelerator, but for changing the lives of our cohort. It’s because of your commitment to growing prosperous communities that these entrepreneurs have a chance to chase, and attain their dreams. That’s something very rare indeed.
As the program lead, I have been fortunate enough to help our cohort grow as businesses, and also as people over the last four months. Their companies have all grown exceptionally, each hitting milestone after milestone. More importantly, I have been lucky enough to be a part of their personal journeys. The ups and downs of entrepreneurship are not simply a myth, and being able to get through the lows, and ride the highs, is often what separates the truly great leaders in our space. I can tell you that we are very lucky to have a cohort that has zero quit in them, they are truly remarkable individuals.
To the Libro team, thank you from the bottom of my heart for believing in these entrepreneurs, and for your continued support. Your excitement, drive, and extreme optimism showcase again what an immense impact Libro has on the community, and we could not do this without you.
To our team at WEtech, this is just the beginning. You are all immense leaders in this community, and I cannot begin to thank you for the opportunity placed in front of me. You are all rock stars, and we are getting started to make a dent in Windsor-Essex.
Over the course of this program, you will get to hear about the journey of each of our six startups. Their battles, their successes, and their experiences. It is my hope that this will shed a little light on the journey of being an entrepreneur, and our impact on that journey as an accelerator.
