WEtech Alliance Welcomes Director of Venture Services Adam Castle

WEtech Alliance is pleased to welcome Adam Castle to the team as Director of Venture Services. Adam will be leading the development and delivery of WEtech Alliance’s suite of business acceleration programs, all of which provide commercialization and entrepreneurship development support for startup and SME clients.

Adam Castle has spent the last six years working in Economic Development in Windsor-Essex, specializing in business development and growth across multiple sectors and working with companies of all sizes.

Adam is a highly driven and successful Business Advisor with an entrepreneurial spirit. He started his first business when he was 15 and continues to run it today. He has had extensive experience leading local companies to growth and market differentiation with a record of generating new business opportunities and developing lucrative partnerships.

His guiding principle in business and life is to “dream with your sleeves rolled up” and believes strongly that through hard work, lifelong learning, and consistency, that all goals no matter their size or scale, are within reach.

Adam brings with him a deep understanding and comprehensive knowledge of the local business ecosystem and a well-developed network of local resource providers. He is an expert at building relationships and has a proven track record of developing strategies to accomplish breakthrough objectives. In 2017, in his role as Economic Development Coordinator with the WindsorEssex Economic Development Corporation, Adam helped to facilitate the creation of over 400 jobs, nearly 6 Million dollars in public and private investment and worked with close to 200 clients. His expertise lies in his ability to solve problems creatively and break down barriers to business growth through a holistic approach.

He is a member of the Economic Developers Association of Canada and is currently in pursuit of his Economic Developers designation from the University of Waterloo.

Adam is a passionate advocate for his clients and encourages them to consider him an expansion of their team from day one. He encourages sustainable and measured growth through the use of simple to learn mental models and best practices. He prides himself on his tried and tested experience in implementing scalability strategies and is ready to help your start-up reach the next level. Adam’s main goal is to work hard, instill confidence, and be collaborative, making you feel like you have just found the business partner you’ve been looking for.
