Connect to Tech in Week-long Community Celebration March 22nd – 28th
Windsor, ON (February 24, 2021) – Tech Week YQG is set to return digitally this year, March 22nd-28th, offering a collaborative series of events spearheaded by WEtech Alliance and the WindsorEssex Economic Development Corporation (WE EDC). This week brings together tech leaders, founders, talent, researchers, investors, and the broader community.
This year the week will be delivered entirely online and feature a number of high-profile speakers including Bruce Croxon (Managing Partner, Round 13 Capital) and Paul Zikopoulos (IBM) who will be kicking off the week and presenting at WE EDC’s Emerging Technologies in Automation Virtual Conference.
This week-long event is the largest regional technology festival dedicated to tech, talent and community.
“Tech Week was founded on encouraging collaboration, celebrating regional success stories and innovators and inspiring the community to get involved in all aspects of technology, said President and CEO of WEtech Alliance, Yvonne Pilon. Given the year we just had, now more than ever is the time to put a spotlight on technology. Technology will be a key driver behind our recovery and helping businesses to improve their digital capability and equipping local people with the tech skills and knowledge just makes sense.”
“Tech Week is a great opportunity to show why Windsor-Essex is leading the way when it comes to emerging technologies and innovation. As COVID has put the brakes on in-person events, this year we are pleased to integrate our annual Emerging Technologies in Automation Conference and Cybersecurity events with Tech Week,” said President and CEO of WindsorEssex Economic Development Corporation, Stephen McKenzie
