Intellectual Property Basics for Startups

This workshop will explore the importance of intellectual property for startups and how to leverage IP as a business strategy for new founders. We will cover a variety of IP topics including an in-depth overview of patents, trademarks, copyright, and others.

Radha Lamba’s bio: Radha Lamba is an associate in the Litigation & Dispute Resolution group at Dentons. Prior to joining Dentons as an Associate, Radha gained experience as a summer and articling student at a full-service business law firm in Toronto.

Radha graduated from the Dual JD program at the University of Windsor Faculty of Law and Detroit Mercy School of Law. During law school, Radha volunteered at the Federal Pro Se Clinic in Detroit, Michigan, where she supported self-represented litigants through the legal process. Radha was the recipient of various awards for her academic and extra-curricular achievements including the Dean’s Achievement Award and multiple Book Awards.
