Maintaining Your Business and Mental Wellness During COVID-19

Canadian Mental Health Association Windsor Essex County Branch (CMHA-WECB) recognizes the unique challenges faced by small businesses in maintaining healthy and safe workplaces while balancing the needs of customers and staff.

In this time of uncertainty and stress related to the COVID-19 pandemic, the WindsorEssex Small Business Centre is partnering with CMHA-WECB to provide this webinar to small business owners to address the impact these circumstances may have on their work and well-being.

Learning objectives:

• Mental health issues surrounding entrepreneurs
• Defining isolation, loneliness and anxiety during COVID-19
• Stress during COVID-19
• Strategies and/or support entrepreneurs can use to manage these issues
• Defining resilience
• Tools to help business owners achieve a better work-life balance

SPEAKER BIO: Jenny-Lee Almeida has been working in the mental health for over 15 years and is currently the bilingual mental health educator for CMHAWECB.

Jenny-Lee holds a B.A. (Honours) in psychology and is a Certified Master Trainer & Facilitator in SafeTALK, ASIST & Suicide to hope through Living Works. She holds her certification as a Living Life to the Full Facilitator & Mental Health Works trainer (Mental Health Works is a nationwide social enterprise of the Canadian Mental Health Association Ontario Division specializing in workplace mental health). She has completed numerous professional development, courses and training throughout her years of employment.
