ScaleUP Accelerator Cohort 9

Cohort nine, powered by Libro Credit Union in partnership with Communitech, the Government of Ontario, and FedDev Ontario, is designed for companies ready to grow, build momentum, and explore new opportunities while making a regional economic impact to Windsor-Essex and/or Chatham-Kent (see Program Guide for full details).
Tailored to meet their specific needs by working with a team of dedicated expert mentors, participants will delve deep into optimizing operations, expanding market reach, and enhancing product/service offerings. The program also offers participants an opportunity to increase their exposure to various media outlets, increasing their visibility and making it easier to attract investment, customers and strategic partnerships.
ScaleUP participants will receive:
- 30 hours of direct engagement with a team of dedicated expert Growth Coaches
- Curated workshops and training sessions such as Investment Readiness and Pitch Preparation
- Peer Founder Sessions for collaborative problem solving and accountability
- Mentorship through the University of Windsor WEsecure Cyber Protection program including full security audits, disaster mitigation, and 6 months of SOC 2 monitoring
- Opportunity to present at the final Showcase with dedicated booth space
- Opportunity to compete at the final Pitch Competition for a $20,000 grand prize
Company Eligibility:
- Must be EITHER:
- Headquartered in Windsor-Essex or Chatham-Kent OR
- Be a client of one the following WEtech partners: Communitech; the Accelerator Centre; Conestoga College; MACcelerate
- Must have a product or service in market or ready to launch
- Business must have a scalable product or service and be tech or innovation centred
- Business must be incorporated
- Business must be Small to Medium Enterprise (1-499 employees)
- Business must have founder or at least one staff working on the project full time hours
- One member of the leadership team must participate in the program and attend all mandatory meetings

ScaleUP Application
Cohort 9 of the award-winning ScaleUP program will look to support the expansion of companies looking to make a regional economic impact to Windsor-Essex and/or Chatham-Kent (see Program Guide for full details).
This 6-month accelerator program will serve as a springboard for companies to propel themselves to the next level of growth and success in their respective markets. By working with a dedicated team of expert mentors, participants will work on the unique challenges they face, refining their business strategies, fine-tuning their value proposition, and exploring new avenues for expansion.
Up to 10 companies will receive an opportunity to present during the program’s final Showcase & Pitch Competition where a panel of judges will award the $20,000 grand prize.
