Wage Subsidies Now Available To Employers
Increase your skilled workforce with ICTC’s Career Focus wage subsidies
Are you seeking to develop new software, run an IT project or boost your online digital presence over a minimum 4 month period and before March 31, 2013?
ICTC can help you hire an under-employed or unemployed post-secondary graduate for a full-time IT position by subsidizing half the eligible participant’s salary up to $12,750.
The objectives of the Career Focus Program are to:
- Help employers mitigate the skills shortage they may be experiencing;
- Facilitate workforce development targeted at youths to build employability capacity in ICT;
- Facilitate the translation of acquired educational knowledge to desired ICT and business acumen;
- Influence the creation of world-class professionals, and technical competencies that enhance career opportunities in ICT.
Companies interested in participating in the program should submit their applications as soon as possible. Participant’s placements cannot begin before the agreement between ICTC and the company is signed by both parties.
