In light of this, WEtech Alliance and Workforce WindsorEssex are excited to host an information session geared at providing employers, organizations and recent graduates valuable information and local examples of how you can benefit from Service Canada’s Career Focus Program.

Monthly Topic: IT Talent Funding Opportunities: Career Focus provides funding up to $20,000 for employers and organizations to create career-related work experiences for post-secondary graduates. Facilitated by: Katie Facecchia, Career Pathway Educator, Workforce WindsorEssex.

About Career Focus
Career Focus provides funding for employers and organizations to create career-related work experiences for post-secondary graduates. The program is part of the Youth Employment Strategy, a horizontal initiative involving eleven federal departments and agencies. Career Focus helps post-secondary graduates gain advanced employability skills and facilitates their transition into the labour market. The projects are delivered at the local, regional, and national levels. Who Can Apply: Businesses, Organizations (including not-for-profit), Public health and educational institutions, Band or tribal councils, Aboriginal organizations, and Municipal governments.
