Windsor, ON, January 22nd, 2013 – WEtech Alliance, Windsor-Essex’s Technology Alliance, along with Caesars Windsor and Blab Media, is pleased to announce the offering of a very unique four part social media workshop at Caesars Windsor’s VU Bar. The workshops will begin on February 13th, 2013 from 3:00-5:00PM and participants can join athttp://www.practicallysocial.eventbrite.com.

Designed for small businesses, business professionals and non-profits organizations, attendees will learn hands-on learning techniques. Group discussions and interactive activities provide the backdrop for a fun, casual, learning environment that’s designed to educate and inspire.

“We’ve created a hands-on workshop series that really allows participants to interact with the material,” says Katie Stokes, co-founder of Blab Media. “We ditched the boring power points for a new approach to learning and we’re excited to really dive into the topic and help these business owners and not-for-profit organizations better understand why utilizing social media is important.”

Stokes says she hopes these workshops will let people know that social media doesn’t have to be stressful. “We want participants to walk away from this experience with not only a greater knowledge on the subject, but also a new outlook on learning.”
