TOPIC: The Ontario Brain Institute’s President & CEO Donald Stuss will be discussing the OBI’s programs. Commercialization is a critical step in translating research ideas into better patient care. For the Ontario Brain Institute (OBI), partnerships are at the root of this translation. We are working with industry to help catalyze the translation of brain research ideas into products that can improve the care of those living with brain disorders. The focus will be on accelerating the commercialization of brain-related technologies through the development of collaborative partnerships between the private sector and not-for-profit institutions. The OBI is committed to working with our local and global partners to move more scientific discoveries into the marketplace. This, in turn, will provide better and lower-cost care as well as to create jobs.
