AlphaKOR Group turns 18 years old at the end of February. How have they been celebrating? By giving back to the community that has supported the company for so long.
AlphaKOR has proudly served local clients since its doors opened in February 1995. Led by partners Frank Abbruzzese, Ali Jaber, Shawn O’Rourke, and Mazen Jaber, AlphaKOR has steadily built their business on the core values of ‘treat your employees like family’, and ‘serve your community’.
With many of their core staff still employed here, the company has grown now to 30 employees in technical services, engineering, development, design, quality control, administration, and ownership. Perhaps the most telling tale of the culture at the now 18 yr old company is its ability and desire to give back to the community that has grown the business.
As much as the owners can and do cut cheques to various causes, it’s the staff involvement that makes this team so special. In the last 90 days, the staff at AlphaKOR has given their time and hard earned money to great local causes like:
- Holiday Turkey Donation to the Unemployed Help Centre
- Supporting and Promoting Hats on for Healthcare
- Supporting and Raising Funds for iClimb for United Way
- Gathering products from suppliers to support WE Take Care of Our Own (supporting the I75 crash victims
