What is a Google virtual tour?
A Google virtual tour is an interactive showcase of the interior of a business. Using panoramic photos, we create virtual tours that enhance a businesses online presence. Essentially, it is “street-view” but for the interiors of businesses. It’s a great way for new and those hidden gem businesses to be put on the map – pun intended.
How are Google virtual tours created?
The first step is scheduling a photo shoot. Preferably, we like to book before or after operating hours to prevent any inconvenience for shopping customers. After the photo shoot is complete, we edit and publish the virtual tour on Google within 1-2 weeks.
Where do Google virtual tours go when completed?
Once the virtual tour for the business is completed, it is published onto Google+, Google Maps and images appear directly on Google search results. In addition, businesses can embed the virtual tours on Facebook and their business website.
Why is it important for businesses to have a Google Virtual Tour?
We are living in a decade of thriving technology! Phone books, magazines, newspapers are OUT! Social media, Google searches, instant answers, constant communication and smart phones are IN.
Google is the largest search engine in the world. In today’s digital society, potential customers research businesses online from home or on their smartphones prior to visiting in person. Our virtual tour service enhances Google search results with featured still photographs and provides viewers the ability to “see inside”. These links are conveniently placed at the top of Google’s search results, making a business stand out. Our street view technology will bring your business to life with a high quality, 360 degree, interactive tour.
What does it cost (on average) for a Google Virtual Tour?
The price of a virtual tour starts at $400 for a basic package and increases for larger, more complex spaces. This is a one time fee. In addition to the virtual tour, all packages include high-resolution, professional still photographs and free web hosting from Google.
Do you need to be Google certified to create a Google Virtual Tour?
Yes, there are specific requirements that must be met to become a certified photographer. There are also mandatory equipment and technical protocol required for creating a business virtual tour.
