October 7, 2013in Tech News 0 Comments

Windsor-Essex County, Ontario – Monday, October 7, 2013 – Dynament Corporation a privately held electro-surgical device manufacturing company has announced today plans to open its Canadian facility in Amhertsburg, Ontario, Canada by the end of 2013. The manufacturing facility will be located at 99 Thomas Road and leased from the Town of Amherstburg.

Steve Livneh, President and CEO of Dynament Corporation stated “We have been searching for a location to grow our operations. We have focused on Amherstburg, Ontario for being the ideal location for our industry, due to its vicinity to the Canada-USA border, reasonable tax base, offering fair cost of living and for being an exemplary safe and friendly community. Once our manufacturing facility is in full production 25 to 30 jobs will be created in the first year, with an additional 10 to 20 created in year two. We anticipate that by the end of year three there will be a total of 80 jobs, consisting of engineers, technicians, assemblers and quality control staff. The significant guidance and support we have received from the Economic Development Corporation, and officials from the Town of Amherstburg have been central in moving forward with our investment.”

“This is an important industry and we are actively taking steps to strengthen the life sciences sector in the region. This investment fits in very well with the expertise in precision manufacturing and furthers our intention to diversify the Windsor-Essex economy with additional areas of manufacturing.” added Sandra Pupatello, CEO of the WindsorEssex Economic Development Corporation.
