B2B Program – Foreign Buyers – Houston TX – Offshore Oil and Gas sector

March 14, 2014in Opportunity Alerts 0 Comments

Canada’s Trade Commissioner Service (TCS) in Houston is organising a business-to-business (B2B) program (May 2nd) around the Offshore Technology Conference in Houston May 5-8, 2014 (http://www.otcnet.org/2014).

Participating foreign buyers will receive a list of companies attending the show (or interested in a B2B and willing to travel) and the buyers will select who they want to meet; this decision is usually made around mid-April. One foreign buyer that is anticipated to take part is NOV – National Oilwell Varco (http://www.nov.com).   As the buyers make the decisions on who they want to meet, be aware that a B2B slot cannot be guaranteed.

The TCS is also organizing a networking event around the OTC for the evening of May 5th – invitations will be sent in April.  Companies can also be kept updated on any other outside events during the show that might be of interest to them.

If this initiative is of interest to you, please contact Gerald Boamah of the Toronto TCS office at mgerald.boamah@international.gc.ca who would be pleased to give you more information & answer your questions.
