There’s a new Apple certified repair outlet in town, much to the relief of Apple device owners in Windsor and Essex County.

iFix Windsor Ltd. is open at a familiar location, 5400 Tecumseh Road East, near Rivard in Windsor, where a similar business under a different owner closed its doors in August.

iFix Windsor owner James Hamlin is a Certified Apple Technician with years of experience, and the new, completely renovated store is a reflection of his personality and business sense.

As an Apple Authorized Service Provider, iFix Windsor specializes in warranty and out of warranty Apple product repair, using only genuine Apple parts.

“People don’t realize that most businesses in the area fix Apple products without a certified technician, which can void the warranty completely!” says Hamlin.

iFix services only Apple products including desktops, notebooks, iPads, iPods and iPhone devices under warranty. Hamlin urges clients to call ahead to confirm their AppleCare or AppleCare+ enrolment. Hamlin also services Apple devices with expired AppleCare Protection Plans and offers diagnostic services, usually on the spot. He’ll even make house calls, while pickup and delivery service is also available for a fee.

Hamlin invites visitors to relax with a coffee or hot chocolate while a technician diagnoses their problem.

In addition to repair services, iFix Windsor will also offer training, setup, network diagnostics and implementation, onsite product integration, data transfer and recovery services, hardware upgrades, AppleCare Protection Plan purchases, software installation, troubleshooting and much more.
