We are writing to advise you that the Ontario Centres of Excellence TalentEdge Internship Program is now open to college and university final-year undergraduate students from across all disciplines and all areas of specialization.
TalentEdge is designed to give the province’s students real-world experience and the chance to apply their knowledge and leading-edge expertise to industry problems. It also provides an opportunity for participating companies to gain the benefit of the leading edge skills and knowledge of our college and university students as well as research and development capacity.
Placements can be either company- or academic-based and all placements must be project-based and have an R&D component (where R&D is defined by the discipline, and is inclusive of all disciplines). All projects must include at least one investing for-profit company that meets the required cash and in-kind contributions.
If you are interested in this program, please visit the TalentEdge program guidelines and complete an Eligibility Questionnaire to initiate an application.
The submission deadline for applications is March 14, 2016. It is anticipated that all 50 TalentEdge internships for final-year undergraduates will be awarded by April 29, 2016. All other applications to this program, including current graduate students and recent Masters graduates, will resume intake in February.
Managed by OCE on behalf of the Government of Ontario, TalentEdge is a key component of Ontario’s Youth Jobs Strategy.
