This year, Global Entrepreneurship Week is celebrating four distinct themes: Education, Ecosystems, Inclusion and Policy. During GEW, we will highlight powerful voices,  ambassadors and GEN partner organizations that promote, encourage and support the development of entrepreneurs within each of the four spaces.

ENACTUS is a global organization aimed to improve the standard of living by creating projects focused around the United Nations 17 Sustainable Development goals. Led by academic advisors and business experts, the student leaders of ENACUTS create and implement community projects and business ventures in communities coast to coast. ENACTUS works to help develop skills that will propel students to be leaders not only in their own communities but across the globe! PROTEUS INNOVATION COMPETITION LAUNCH

The Proteus Innovation Competition is a four-month competition that will challenge individuals to create a viable commercialization strategy for 1 of 3 promising technologies, in hopes of winning a cash prize of up to $5,000! Now in its fifth year, the Proteus Innovation Competition has selected three technologies from three universities, partnering with the University of Windsor and McMaster University along with Western University. ScaleUP TECH ACCELERATOR PITCH FINALE (INVITE ONLY)
November 21 at 8:30am -11:30am

Five of the region’s top tech and tech-enabled startups will have the chance to pitch in front of a group of seasoned investors and judges to compete for a top prize of $10,000 at our third Libro ScaleUP Pitch Night. 

ScaleUP selects five (5) entrepreneurs who receive four-months of intensive business mentoring + in-kind services valued at $15,000 + access to a global network of support + the opportunity to pitch for a 6-month hot desk at SOAR Innovation and a $10,000 top prize in front of the  Windsor Essex Capital Angel Network (WECAN) and members of the Windsor Essex Regional Alliance during Global Entrepreneurship Week 2019.
