Explore emerging solutions in mobility, electrification, automation and AI with WEtech Alliance and OVIN on November 19.
Five innovative startups and SMEs will join WEtech Alliance in the Startup Zone at the 2026 Emerging Technologies in Automation & Mobility Transformation Conference and Trade Show, taking place Thursday, November 19, at Caesars Windsor. The event brings together industry leaders, advanced manufacturing experts, technology companies and supply chain purchasers to explore the technologies shaping the future of industry and transportation.
This year’s Startup Zone is supported by the Government of Ontario through the Ontario Vehicle Innovation Network (OVIN), led by Ontario Centre of Innovation, as part of the Windsor-Essex Regional Technology Development Site (WE RTDS), led by WEtech Alliance.
The initiative helps companies access expertise, tools and industry connections to advance the development and commercialization of mobility, automotive and advanced transportation technologies.
From marine manoeuvring and autonomous charging to drone-enabled insights, connected vehicle payments and industrial AI, these five companies showcase the range of technologies creating new possibilities across mobility and related sectors.
BOWREX Marine Inc.
BOWREX Marine Inc. is developing a portable bow manoeuvring system designed to make docking safer, easier and more affordable. Unlike conventional bow thrusters, the system requires no permanent hull modifications, helping reduce installation costs, structural risks and maintenance requirements. Initially designed for recreational boats, it also has long-term potential for commercial vessels. With functional prototypes developed, BOWREX is using ANSYS engineering simulations to refine its product for commercialization.
Terralynx
Terralynx combines drone technology, multispectral imagery, photogrammetry and artificial intelligence to help the agriculture industry make more informed decisions. Through detailed maps, close-up imagery and analysis, the company turns aerial data into practical insights that support decisions in the field. Its services support farmers, agribusinesses, government agencies, academic institutions and other agricultural stakeholders, demonstrating how aerial technology can support more precise and efficient operations.
WirelessPnC
WirelessPnC is a Canadian clean technology company developing universal wireless charging infrastructure for electric and autonomous mobility. Its platform is designed to let e-scooters, e-bikes, delivery robots, drones and other light electric vehicles charge automatically without plugs, cables or vehicle-specific connectors. By combining advanced power electronics with intelligent battery identification, charging optimization and energy management, WirelessPnC aims to reduce manual charging, equipment failures and operational downtime.
AuthenCore AI
AuthenCore AI is developing technology that allows a vehicle to become a secure credential for everyday mobility transactions. Its A-Pulse® platform gives each vehicle a persistent digital identity that can be authenticated in real time and linked to an approved payment method. The platform is designed to simplify payments for parking, fuel, EV charging, tolls, car washes and other services, with minimal or no driver interaction. For operators, it offers a common integration layer across multiple mobility services.
Evormore AI
Evormore AI helps Canadian manufacturers, trades businesses and agri-food companies take ownership of their AI and technology. The company builds private, Canadian-hosted AI systems that clients control outright, offering an alternative to ongoing software subscriptions. Its work addresses challenges such as workflows tied up in spreadsheets and the loss of valuable business knowledge when experienced employees leave, helping businesses strengthen the digital capabilities behind their operations.
