Hackforge; w.a.v.e.s Festival Info Session for Makers and Artists

FREEHackforge, in partnership with the City of Windsor, hosts a free drop-in information session for makers and artists applying to w.a.v.e.s Festival 2016. The session will cover how to apply for funding for installations and projects, creative examples from w.a.v.e.s 2014 and questions and answers from the festival organizer.
Hackforge, in partnership with the City of Windsor, will host a free drop-in information session on Wednesday, February 10th from 4:30PM to 6:30PM for makers and artists applying to the w.a.v.e.s Community Arts Festival. Deadline for application is March 31st.
The session will cover how to apply for funding for installations and projects, creative examples from w.a.v.e.s 2014 and questions and answers from festival organizers. Deadline for application is March 31st.
w.a.v.e.s. (Windsor’s Artists, Visions, Energies & Sculptures) is a two-day festival (September 30th to October 1st) connecting communities through waves of art, culture and technology.
Potential projects could include:
– Light, video or interactive installations
– Multimedia or interactive performances
– Works that utilize mobile performances
– Kid-friendly or educational workshops
– Sound or Performance Art
– The Unexpected
