WINDSOR, ON, March 15 2023 – WEtech Alliance is excited to announce a new partnership with SnapPea, a Canadian leader in product development. Aimed at providing WEtech clients with first-class support in idea and market validation, the partnership will help Windsor-Essex and Chatham-Kent entrepreneurs learn a new low-cost method of validating their ideas in market without having to make major investments in technology or development first.
Since their launch seven years ago, SnapPea has helped over 120 enterprise and startup customers create outstanding and innovative products using a tried and tested approach to moving from concept to production.
WEtech is now the latest partner organization to offer SnapPea programming to their entrepreneurial community. The company has previously partnered with some of the provinces most successful startup and scaleup organizations, including The Accelerator Centre in Waterloo and The Forge at McMaster University.
‘Yes’ and ‘No’ have equal value in the world of startups
The “Stop Trusting Opinions and Assumptions” online course developed by SnapPea will teach entrepreneurs a framework for how to unlock data through online testing and learn if they are solving a real pain point before investing in development costs.
“‘Yes’ and ‘No’ have equal value in the world of startups. If something isn’t going to work, learning that sooner means less money, time, and effort spent on developing solutions that don’t address the right problems,” says Adam Castle, Director of Venture Services at WEtech Alliance. “Alternatively, startups with ideas that do have potential want to move quickly to capture market share and investment after they validate. There is tremendous value in properly testing your ideas and making data-backed decisions. Startups take a lot of resources to launch and run; through this partnership, our clients will gain access to a framework that will help them get the answers they need in as short a time as possible.”
“We are thrilled to announce the expansion of our programming reach with the addition of WEtech Alliance. WEtech is already a fantastic incubator and we’re looking forward to bring the incredible value of early-stage validation to their clients,” says Steven Fyke, CEO and Founder of SnapPea. “We are grateful to WEtech for their support, and we look forward to working with their team to truly change the way startups are tested and built in Southwestern Ontario.”
Steven will be joining WEtech on March 22nd during TeCK Week YQG 2023 for a virtual fireside chat exploring the process of product validation created by SnapPea and sharing insights he and his team have learned on their way to creating over 800 collective patents.
