Windsor, ON (October 3, 2023) –WEtech Alliance and partners are excited to announce that registration is now open for Founders Night YQG, an evening of networking, learning, and fun.
The event takes place Tuesday, November 14th at 6pm at St. Clair College’s Zekelman School of Business Alumni Hall and is a collaboration between WEtech Alliance, WindsorEssex Small Business and Entrepreneurship Centre, EPICentre, and Genesis Entrepreneurship Centre.
The nightlong celebration will bring together entrepreneurs, startups, innovators, changemakers, entrepreneurial support organizations, local leaders, and community to celebrate, educate, connect, and build momentum and opportunity around our region’s startups.

This event serves as a platform to connect, celebrate, and inspire both aspiring and established entrepreneurs,” says Yvonne Pilon, President and CEO of WEtech Alliance. “This fun, free event is our way of ensuring that we not only build but also retain our thriving startup community, underlining our collective commitment to the future of innovation and entrepreneurship in our region.”
Attendees will also get to hear from keynote speaker, Jake Karls; co-founder and Chief Rainmaker of Mid-Day Squares, one of the fastest growing chocolate manufacturing brands in Canada and the United States.
The unapologetically authentic, modern-day Willy Wonka is a Forbes 30 Under 30 and will share his company’s story of stratospheric growth through brand building and genuine human connection.
The event is powered by the St. Clair College Alumni Association and Zekelman School of Business and is open to founders, entrepreneurs, changemakers, leaders, and community members who build the business community.
Admission is free and includes a YQG Founders Goodie Bag (while supplies last), food and drinks, parking, and keynote speaker address.
