Windsor, ON (February 22, 2023) – TeCK Week YQG returns March 20th through 24th, offering a series of collaborative events spearheaded by WEtech Alliance. The week brings together tech leaders, founders, talent, researchers, investors, expats, and the broader community.
This year, the event will be a hybrid experience; combining both in-person and virtual participation options and feature a number of high-profile speakers and guests including Cara Clairman, CEO of Plug’n Drive, Steven Fyke, Founder and Creative Director of SnapPea, and Ash Guglani, President and Director of NEXE Innovations.
Now in its sixth year, this week-long event is the largest regional technology festival dedicated to tech, talent, and community.

Tech Women Day powered by Invest WindsorEssex will kick off the week at the newly established University of Windsor School of Computer Science Advanced Computing and Innovation Hub for a fireside chat and casual networking, which will bring women professionals and students together to inspire success, expand their networks, and support women in the technology sector. The event will be held in-person Monday, March 20th.
Tech Talks Day powered by WEtech Alliance will focus on sharing the stories of tech leaders, organizations, newcomers, and expats shaping the future of our region and beyond through a series of podcasts hosted by Arms Bumanlag. Whether you’re commuting to work, taking a lunch break, or simply relaxing at home, the Tech Talks podcast series, is the perfect way to stay up-to-date with the latest news and insights from the tech and innovation community. The talks will be held virtually throughout the day Tuesday, March 21st.
Tech Founder Day powered by SnapPea will focus on helping Founders in building their business the right way from the very start. The event will feature SnapPea Founder & Creative Director, Steven Fyke. This event will be held virtually Wednesday, March 22nd.
Tech Mobility Day powered by Invest WindsorEssex will focus on exploring the world of electrification and mobility. Hear from industry expert, Cara Clairman, CEO of Plug’n Drive, who will be sharing insights on the drive towards net-zero and the exciting advancements in the electric vehicle industry. The event will also feature an EV Showcase, where attendees can test drive and interact with companies, innovators, and researchers.
Green Tech Day powered by i.d.e.a Fund will spotlight the innovative work of NEXE Innovations, a BC-based company with new roots in Windsor-Essex, Ontario! The session will explore how the company is leveraging disruptive technology to transform wasteful consumer practices into powerful change and innovation. This event will be held virtually Friday, March 24th.
The week is free-to-attend and gives unique access to experts and thought-leaders who will be sharing knowledge on subjects such as emerging technologies and trends, advanced manufacturing, startup growth, mobility, green economy, and community innovation.
