This week we’re excited to welcome Adrianno Fallone to the team as our new Tech Connect High School Ambassador!
We asked Adrianno to tell us more about himself. Here’s what he had to say.
Adrianno Fallone
Title: Tech Connect High School Ambassador
School: St. Joseph’s Catholic High School
Bio: Ever since a young age, I have had an immense curiosity for technology and how things work. This has led to me pursuing things like robotics, coding, and machine vision. Along the way, I have gotten the opportunity to do some incredible internships, take on ambassador roles, and participate in various volunteering experiences. Two of my biggest involvements have been my internship at Vista Solutions, an industry leader in machine vision technologies, and my ambassador role for BorderHacks, one of Windsor’s most successful hackathons ever. Through these experiences, I have developed both technical and professional skills, which will assist me in my future endeavors. I currently have a 98% average across my classes and work as a Tech Associate at Staples.
During my Tech Connect experience with the WEtech Alliance, I hope to continuously improve upon my networking and leadership skills, while learning more about the technology/entrepreneurship opportunities that the region of Windsor-Essex has to offer. In addition, I hope to serve as a positive role model for other students and encourage them to get involved in STEM.
This summer, I will be attending the SHAD Canadian Enrichment Program online, which will help me become an active innovator and changemaker. Getting accepted into this prestigious program was an absolute pleasure, but with the ongoing pandemic, I was unsure whether or not I would have the financial resources needed to attend. Working with the WEtech Alliance will give me the opportunity to earn my tuition funds by spreading awareness to topics and ideas I truly believe in.
After graduating from high school, I hope to study a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science at one of Canada’s leading universities and continue to work on forward-thinking projects. After all of my schooling is complete, I plan to get a job in software development and possibly even start my own business. Ultimately, I know that technology will drive our future in ways that we could never before imagine, and I want to be a part of the creation of this future.
