As the tech world gears up for Collision 2023, the highly anticipated “Olympics of Tech” conference, Windsor-Essex is set to make an appearance. This event, taking place in Toronto June 26-29, brings together industry leaders, startups, and entrepreneurs from across the globe.
We are excited to announce that our region will be represented by a number of partner organizations including Invest WindsorEssex, EPICentre and the University of Windsor, regional entrepreneurs, and several outstanding companies participating in special startup programming and exhibition spaces.
WEtech Alliance-supported Companies in the Spotlight
Three WEtech Alliance-supported companies have been selected to participate in special startup programming and exhibition spaces at Collision 2023. These startups exemplify the cutting-edge solutions emerging from the regional tech landscape. Their participation offers a glimpse into the work happening within the region and provides them with invaluable exposure and networking opportunities.
Picsume eliminates the antiqued process of resume building by creating a live, dynamic work profile which contains only relevant, pertinent and verified information. Picsume’s proprietary technology extracts current job postings to its platform, pairing candidates directly with employers through curated opportunities across Canada. The recently launched Picsume, will be participating in the ALPHA Program at Collision.
Grew Again provides a convenient way for Parents and Caregivers to connect so that they can buy, sell or even trade items their children have outgrown. Grew Again will be participating in the Ontario ICT Mission at Collision.
Biofect Innovations is a biotechnology company that has developed a unique microbe-based platform for the cost-effective production of high-value ingredients. This innovative technology has the potential to revolutionize the food industry and beyond, with applications for various novel ingredients, and are currently focusing on protein-based sweeteners like brazzein. Biofect Innovations, one of the WEtech Alliance-supported i.d.e.a. Fund companies in Cohort 2 will be participating in the ALPHA Program at Collision as part of the Brampton Venture Zone.
