The University of Windsor School of Computer Science invites young women in high school interested in pursuing a major or minor in a technology-related degree to a free brunch event In the Loop: Connecting Young Women to a Future in Technology at the Dr. Murray O’Neil Medical Education Centre (room 3102, 455 California Ave.). Participants will hear about the diversity of the field of computer science and programs offered at the University of Windsor, connect with current computer science students, and hear from a panelist of female professionals working in this field. Parents are welcome to attend.

4. NATIONAL GIRLS LEARNING CODE DAY

This workshop is for kids ages 9-12 year olds + Parent/Guardian. Our workshops are designed to give learning experiences that are fun, engaging, empowering and inspirational. Through hands-on, collaborative, project-based learning, kids end the workshop having built something. This workshop experience is designed to help kids see technology in a whole new light – as a medium for self-expression, and as a means for changing the world.
5. Science Rendezvous Festival

A FREE science festival open to everyone passionate about science and discovery! Join Science Rendezvous Windsor for a day of mind-blowing demonstrations and exciting exhibits on Saturday, May 11, 2019 from 10AM-3:30PM. The event will be held in the Education Gym and Essex CoRE on the University of Windsor campus.
