WEtech Alliance Partners with Workforce WindsorEssex to Enhance Tech Job Board

WINDSOR, ON (October 26, 2023) – WEtech Alliance, a Regional Innovation Centre serving the Windsor-Essex and Chatham-Kent regions, is excited to announce its partnership with Workforce WindsorEssex to enhance its tech job board. This collaboration aims to provide job seekers with a one-stop destination for regional tech-related job opportunities while helping employers connect with top talent.

WEtech Alliance’s existing job board will now feature a more robust list of tech-specific job listings making it easier for regional job seekers to explore tech roles. This initiative aligns with the growing demand for tech talent in Windsor-Essex and Chatham-Kent and offers a valuable resource for those looking to pursue careers in the tech industry.

“We are thrilled to partner with Workforce WindsorEssex to strengthen the tech ecosystem in our region,” said Sam Branton, Manager of Talent Programs and Engagement at WEtech Alliance. “This collaboration will simplify the job search process for tech students and professionals while continuing to support regional employers in finding the best tech talent.”

The updated tech job board leverages Workforce WindsorEssex’s WE Data Tools platform, a local tech success story whose technology has been deployed across the province.

“Workforce WindsorEssex is pleased to support WEtech Alliance’s efforts to launch the largest tech-focused job board in Windsor-Essex and Chatham-Kent using its locally developed WE Data Platform,” said Justin Falconer, CEO of Workforce WindsorEssex. “This tool will help tech professionals search more than 60 job boards simultaneously for their next opportunity.”

Employers are encouraged to utilize WEtech Alliance’s free tech job board in conjunction with the enhanced Workforce Windsor-Essex platform. This dual approach will provide an additional marketing element for employers seeking to fill tech-related positions.
