Kaitlyn Collins has spent the last 6 years working with small businesses to support and achieve brand growth. Kaitlyn prides herself in utilizing digital marketing strategies to maximize brand presence. She believes in the value of entrepreneurial efforts that increase the potential for community growth and advancement.
We sat down with Kaitlyn for a rapid-fire Q&A to get to know her better.
Q: Describe yourself in five words.
A: Enthusiastic. Playful. Creative. Fun. Empathetic.
Q: Are you more of a hunter or a gatherer?
A: Hunter
Q: What would the title of your autobiography be called?
A: I Knew I’d Be Famous – An Autobiography by Kaitlyn Collins
Q: If you could be any animal in the world, what animal would you be and why?
A: If I were an animal I would be a house cat. House cats get to lounge around in the sun and never cook their own meals. They are praised for their sass and are independent.
Q: What’s your favourite ’90s jam?
A: Creep by Radiohead
Q: What would your pet say about you if we asked for a reference?
A: Feeds me every day, gives me baths therefore a solid 7/10.
Q: You’re a new addition to the crayon box. What color would you be and why?
A: I would definitely be the white crayon. White crayons are the most humble crayons. They don’t seem important until they are in their element. White crayons define the odds and can do things others can’t such as show up on black paper.
Q: What’s the strangest thing you’ve ever eaten?
A: The strangest thing I have ever eaten is a sticker off of an apple.
Q: What do you work toward in your free time?
A: I work toward relaxing and enjoying the small things including exploring Windsor-Essex every chance I can.
Q: What were you like in high school?
A: Robotics nerd and wannabe film producer.
Q: Favourite superhero?
A: My Mom.
Q: What Friends character do you most identify with?
A: Monica (the one who hosts the parties and is always there for a fun time)
Q: What accomplishment are you most proud of?
A: My most proud accomplishment thus far is finding a career path I am so passionate about from a young age.
Q: Who would play you in a movie?
A: Kirsten Dunst
Q: What is your best feature?
A: I would say my best feature is my ability to see the good in everything.
Q: Have you ever tried to do something and you knew that you were going to be really bad at it, but you did it anyway?
A: Playing the piano. When I was 7 I decided after 1 lesson to enter the school talent show and played mary had a little lamb on repeat for 5 mins.
Q: You’re on death row. What’s your last meal?
A: A subtle appetizer of spinach dip followed by a main course of a grilled to perfection steak topped with garlic shrimp and served with mashed potatoes. For dessert (if I had room) Grape Ice cream.
Q: What is one thing you’re most excited for in joining the WEtech Alliance team?
A: The most exciting thing about joining the team at WEtech Alliance is being associated with and working alongside such a successful and motivated team.
