Picsume, an award winning Canadian software company redefining how job seekers and employers connect, is excited to announce significant funding approvals and partnerships that will accelerate the development of cutting-edge hiring solutions. The company is receiving advisory services and research and development funding of up to $141,980 from National Research Council of Canada Industrial Research Assistance Program (NRC IRAP), tax incentives of $112,720 through the Scientific Research and Experimental Development (SR&ED) and is in the final stages of securing up to an additional $450,000 through the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council (NSERC) in collaboration with the University of Windsor and Lambton College.
Through the support of NRC IRAP and these other funding sources, Picsume will further enhance its proprietary AI-driven platform to improve talent matching, employer efficiency, and the overall hiring experience. This funding allows Picsume to expand its capabilities in non-bias hiring algorithms, automation, and advanced analytics, reinforcing its commitment to creating a fair, equitable, and skills-focused job market.
Additionally, Picsume is collaborating with the University of Windsor and Lambton College through potential NSERC funding. This partnership focuses on advancing machine learning applications in recruitment, optimizing predictive analytics for candidate success, and exploring new methodologies for workforce data intelligence. By working alongside leading academic institutions, Picsume is strengthening its position at the forefront of hiring technology innovation.
“This funding marks a major milestone for Picsume as we continue to push the boundaries of what’s possible in hiring.”
Picsume’s growth is further bolstered by its participation in Communitech and Elevate IP, made possible through an introduction by Regional Innovation Centre, WEtech Alliance, which are providing additional funding and strategic support. With their patent strategy now approved to move forward with filing, these programs are playing a crucial role in securing intellectual property protections for Picsume’s innovative hiring technologies. This ensures that Picsume remains at the forefront of the industry while safeguarding the unique advancements it brings to the market.
“This funding marks a major milestone for Picsume as we continue to push the boundaries of what’s possible in hiring,” said Picsume CEO Jordan Goure. “The support from NRC IRAP allows us to refine and expand our platform’s capabilities, while our collaboration with the University of Windsor and Lambton College ensures we stay ahead with research-driven, impactful solutions for employers and job seekers alike.”
With these investments, Picsume is set to roll out a series of enhancements aimed at making hiring faster, fairer, and more data-driven. Employers will benefit from greater automation in job matching and compliance, while job seekers will gain access to more transparent and skill-focused hiring opportunities. These developments align with Picsume’s ongoing mission to modernize hiring for both local industry and nationwide organizations.
